Bud Industries Introduces Low-Cost High-Performing Tablet Enclosures

By Stacy Combest | June 4, 2013

Share

Bud Industries has introduced tablet enclosures that are 20-30% less expensive than leading competitive enclosures, without sacrificing quality. Ideal for portable, desktop or wall mounted electronic applications, the new tablet enclosures are made of high-impact ABS plastic that is flame retardant to UL94-VO (white color) and UL94-HB (black color). The tongue and groove sealing design offers superior protection from dust and moisture. When used with an optional silicone sponge gasket, the enclosures achieve an IP65 rating for waterproofing and dust.

Bud’s latest product offering is versatile and durable yet cost-conscious tablet enclosures that effectively safeguard sensitive electronic components in both portable and stationery applications.  It is available in a range of sizes from 5.5” L (140 mm) x 3.9”W (100 mm) x 1.2”H (30 mm) to 12.7”L (322 mm) x 9.1”W (232 mm) x 1.2”H (30 mm) and features a recessed area designed for either a touch or LCD screen.
