This impeller lobe assembly will help food and beverage users speed through cleaning tasks. The ETP-CONNECT shaft connection is for pump drives with solid shafts. It simplifies the cleaning and maintenance of pumps, so it suits applications in pharmaceutical, chemical, and food and beverage processing systems where cleaning and maintenance must be done quickly and easily. This patented device connects the pump impellor to the motor using a single actuation screw.
The ETP-CONNECT is a precision bushing. The design accurately expands the ID of the connection when the single actuation screw is tightened. Since the expansion is caused by self-contained hydraulic pressure, the resulting force is perfectly even along all surfaces. The bushing aligns precisely without axial movement as it is tightened. The positioning accuracy maintains impeller concentricity for reduced vibration, improved pump and motor life.
Another key feature is that it can be actuated thousands of times with repeatable accuracy and without any axial movement. An Allen wrench is all that is required to mount and lock it into position. The bushing’s sealed, clean lines resist debris collection and clean easily without any special maintenance.
