Caster Concepts, Inc. located in Albion, MI and the manufacturer of heavy duty industrial casters and wheels announced that it has acquired the assets and select liabilities of LARCASTER/Owl Welding located in Selkirk, Manitoba. The deal is effective immediately.

President William H. Dobbins stated, “This is an exciting opportunity for Caster Concepts to acquire LARCASTER, an innovative company in the torsion caster business. LARCASTER pioneered the torsion caster product line and we will carry on a great tradition of excellent product and superior customer service”.

As part of the transition plan, Al Larson, owner of LARCASTER, and Karen Hynes, Operations Manager, will remain on as consultants for a designated period of time to assure that all customer needs are being met. Al Larson stated, “I am excited that I have found a great fit for the LARCASTER product line. I believe that Caster Concepts will carry on a tradition that I have worked hard to establish over the past 20 years. I look forward to working with the Caster Concepts team to make the transition smooth and assure the customers are served”.

Caster Concepts will move all operations of LARCASTER to its U.S. base in Albion, MI. The move will be completed in 7 days and manufacturing will start immediately.
