Nexen Group, Inc. announces their Precision Motion Control catalog is now available. The catalog details the company’s expanded line of Roller Pinion System (RPS) products, designed to provide high-accuracy linear positioning with no backlash, as well as expanded gear offerings.
Precision Motion Control Catalog

With three new rack models available to complement the Standard and Premium rack models along with the diverse selection of gear products, Nexen offers a diverse portfolio of motion control products. An RPS drive solution is available to suit the requirements of versatile applications. In addition to the current Standard and Premium models, the following models are available:

*Endurance Rack: Delivers ±80 µm positional accuracy, high load capacity and excellent service life. This model is ideal for demanding applications requiring long life and that need corrosion resistance to protect from harsh environments. This model is able to run without lubrication in certain applications.

*Universal Rack: Delivers ±50 µm positional accuracy. The most affordable rack model, the Universal Rack is ideal for demanding applications where positional accuracy and repeatability is important. Lubrication is necessary and recommended.

*Stainless Steel Universal Rack: Delivers ±50 µm positional accuracy. This model is ideal for demanding applications where positional accuracy, repeatability and high corrosion resistance are important like packaging, food processing and dairy. Lubrication is necessary and recommended.

Stainless steel pinions are also available in both shaft and flange mount versions to complement the new rack offerings. Additionally, the expanded Nexen catalog of gear offerings features every RPS size, full rings, arcs and internal and external teeth.
