The single-axis Sinamics V20 drive for basic applications features short commissioning times, easy operation, excellent cost, and energy benefits. Available in four frame sizes from 1/6–20 hp, it is used to operate pumps, fans, compressors and conveyor systems, and simple drive tasks in the processing and handling industries, and equipped with an energy-optimized control mode (ECO-mode) for increased energy efficiency. This compact drive can be connected directly in-line and mounted as push-through installation, as well as conventional wall mounting. Since no further modules or add-on options are required for operation, installation time is reduced. Included are Modbus interface for communication with third-party controls, pre-built connection and application macros used for application-specific settings. For units with power ratings higher than 10 hp, a braking resistor can be connected directly to integrated braking chopper.
