Micro-Drives announces the expansion of its DC gearmotor product line with the addition of its cost-effective series M32P DC gearmotors. Consisting of a DC motor with an iron-core rotor and graphite commutation joined to a metal planetary gearhead, the 32 mm diameter gearmotor’s construction ensures long life even when subjected to demanding conditions.
The series M32P DC gearmotor offers a wide range of possibilities. Lower reduction gearmotor ratios allow speeds up to 1,170 rpm. Higher reduction gearmotor ratios provide an output torque up to 3.53 Nm. Two winding options based upon 12V and 24V nominal specs offer better matching to applications using a range of different power supply voltages. Gearmotors available with either sleeve bearings or ball bearings offer a choice to meet actual performance demands keeping the cost as low as possible. Offered as options, an attached leadscrew and integral encoder creates a closed-loop linear actuator for a complete miniature DC drive servo system. Most of the series M32P DC gearmotor combinations ship from stock with a 24 – 48 hour turnaround.
