Jean-Pascal Tricoire, Chairman of the Management Board and CEO of Schneider Electric (SE) has announced that effective March 1, 2009, Hal Grant assumed the position of CEO for Custom Sensors & Technologies (CST), headquartered in Moorpark, California.
Hal joined Schneider Electric in 1985. His assignment prior to his appointment as CEO for CST was managing the Global Supply Chain functions for Schneider Electric. While in that position, Hal launched and implemented a program to simplify and rebalance SE’s global supply chain strategy, significantly increasing and streamlining overall effectiveness while reducing costs.
According to Jean-Pascal Tricoire, “Hal”s mission will be to develop the CST business in four strategic areas; grow the commercial network, increase the competitiveness of the industrial approach, continue to develop a technological advantage in customized sensors, and develop synergies with the rest of the Schneider Electric group of companies.”
Hal replaces Chuck Treadway, who held the position of President and CEO at CST for three years. At this time, Chuck has chosen to make his next career step outside of Schneider Electric organization.
