The miniature SLICE HG data acquisition system captures physical signals in dynamic environments like blast and ordnance evaluation. Targeted at applications with size or mass constraints, SLICE HG’s 31.75 mm diameter size makes it easy to embed the data recorder directly in or on most test articles. The rugged aluminum housing is impervious to shock up to 20,000 g.
The 3-channel SLICE HG features onboard signal conditioning and supports a variety of external sensors including piezo-resistive accelerometers. Data direct-writes to 16 GB internal flash memory and stores up to four hours of data at the maximum 500k sps/channel sampling rate.
“There are no other data acquisition systems on the market that match SLICE HG’s capabilities in a tiny package like this,” said Steve Pruitt, DTS president and co-founder.
