Deeper Smart Fishfinder took the Best of Innovation Award at the biggest annual worldwide Consumer Electronic Show known as CES2016, held in Las Vegas, Nevada. It is the first time ever for any fishing technology to be nominated and win the award for the best Wireless Handset Accessory of 2016.

Deeper Fishfinder was selected as one of the honorees at the annual Consumer Technology Association competition known as the CES Innovation Awards. Deeper was nominated for the best innovation among Wireless Handset Accessories and won the CES 2016 Best of Innovation Award for the category.

This is the first time that the Deeper Fishfinder has been nominated for this prestigious award. The smart, portable sonar device was thoroughly evaluated and chosen by a panel of highly-regarded tech professionals. All nominees were assessed according to their aesthetic design, engineering qualities and novelty of their features. Compared to the hundreds of noteworthy competitors, Deeper came out on top and was the most innovative product from the Wireless Handset Accessories category.

Deeper Fishfinder is also the first fishing gadget to ever receive a major award from the Consumer Technology Association. The President of Deeper U.S.A Casey McKnight commented, that “the core focus of our team is to bring innovation to the fishing market and this achievement proves that Deeper delivers superb quality and technological design that allows us to compete with other top – notch brands”.

The CES award is not the only accolade for Deeper. This year, the AFTA selected it as the Best Fishing / Boating Accessory of the Year and Fish Alaska magazine chose Deeper as a 2015 Editor’s Choice. On Deeper’s growing trophy case, McKnight added, “we are passionate about what we do and winning these awards really motivates our talented team to continue to raise the innovation bar and create game-changing technology.”

The CES Innovation Awards is an annual event honoring outstanding design and engineering in consumer technology products. It features products in such categories as Virtual Reality, Smart Home, Software, and Wearable Technologies. The CES Innovation Awards are presented at the international Consumer Electronics Show the largest consumer technology trade event in the world held January 6th-9th in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The team representing Deeper Fishfinder will be attending this year’s CES 2016 tech show. The Deeper booth will be available for visitors at Tech West, Sands – Level 2, Booth #73057. The Deeper Team invites all attendees to come see several new technological advancements that will be introduced at the show.

“We are taking fishing technology to the next level,” McKnight said, “so once again Deeper is ready to show the world that it truly deserves every award it gets and that fishing can be innovative too.”
