RICHMOND, VA – Weidmuller announces the introduction of a new series of solid-state relays with state-of-the-art technology. These relays operate through a patented pulse transformer technology that offers numerous advantages over electromechanical relays and solid-state opto-couplers. These advantages include high transient immunity and high input-to-output isolation– all with no minimum load requirements. Designed for difficult industrial applications that frequently include electrical drives, the Delcon Series utilizes pulse transformer isolation and protective load circuitry to ensure long life operation. “The Delcon Series relays are a perfect complement to Weidmuller’s existing portfolio of relays and opto-couplers,” says Susanne Walker, Product Manager.
Weidmuller’s new Delcon Series Relays
Weidmuller’s new offering of Delcon Series relays is available in a range of input and output versions for both AC and DC voltages. “When the input and output signals are critical and reliability is a necessity, as is the case in most process industry applications, the Delcon Series relays are the perfect solution,” comments Tobin Robertson, Portfolio Manager. Designed for use in the most challenging environments and applications around the world, the Delcon Series relays are UL and CSA approved.
These new relays offer a low total cost of ownership when computing time, cost savings and optimization of machinery up time. The pulse transformer technology, in combination with extensively protected circuits, enables a long life cycle of reliability and dependability regardless of the number of operations and switching frequencies.
