Delcross Technologies (Champaign, IL) has announced the release of its EMIT (Electromagnetic Interference Toolkit) Version 3.3 software. Among the new features in this new release are 23 new pre-defined transceiver, receiver and transmitter definitions. EMIT is a software framework for cosite simulation and management of installed RF systems. These RF systems may consist of multiple receivers, transmitters, antennas, interconnection components and installation platforms. EMIT manages installed RF system performance data, simulates intra-system RF EMI effects, and mitigates EMI issues, resulting in a comprehensive database/model maintainable over the life of a host platform. It also uses antenna-to-antenna coupling measurements, or simulation data from the Delcross Savant software for installed antenna performance analysis. Features include:
- Seamless integration with CST STUDIO SUITE.
- Channel definitions and channel bandwidths.
- Modulation type, noise levels, spectral profiles, power levels, MDS, intermodulation,
- Frequency hopping definitions.
