Design-2-Part Shows Announce 2011 Schedule

Design-2-Part (D2P) Shows have released their 2011 show schedule. The 11 show slate includes an inaugural show in Houston and six annual events.

The schedule is highlighted by Design-2-Part Shows’ first ever appearance in Houston, Texas with the Southern Texas Design-2-Part Show, on November 16 & 17, 2011 at the Reliant Center. This new fall show joins a D2P 2011 schedule that already includes an annual Texas show in the Dallas/Fort Worth suburb of Grapevine on February 23 & 24.

As usual, the show schedule is anchored by six annual shows. In addition to the Grapevine, TX show, D2P will hold five other yearly events in Oaks, PA, Schaumburg, IL, Santa Clara, CA, Pasadena, CA, and Marlborough, MA. The Southern California Design-2-Part Show actually rotates between Pasadena and Long Beach giving Los Angeles area manufacturers two convenient, every-other-year options.

The Design-2-Part Show schedule is rounded out with four events that revolve every couple of years. Headlining this group is D2P’s return to Nashville, TN and the Gaylord Opryland Convention Center after having to cancel in 2010 due to torrential flooding. The Mid-South Design-2-Part Show will take place on September 28 & 29. Also returning to the D2P 2011 schedule will be shows in Atlanta, GA, Covington, KY, and Kissimmee, FL.

Design-2-Part Shows provide design engineers, manufacturing engineers and managers, and purchasers an excellent opportunity to meet local and national job shops and contract manufacturers to source custom parts, components, services, and design. Exhibiting companies will be showcasing their design-through-manufacturing services featuring more than 300 product categories for the metal, plastics, rubber and electronics industries. Design-2-Part Shows are working shows and visitors are encouraged to bring sample parts and drawings.

D2P Shows exclusively feature exhibiting job shops and contract manufacturers with manufacturing operations in the United States. Companies that do not have facilities in the U.S. are not permitted to exhibit.
