Master Electronics, a distributor of electromechanical, interconnect and passive components, has released a line card covering products for constructing industrial control panels. The line card covers products from 26 suppliers and includes product categories for circuit protection, contactors and motor starters, PLCs and smart relays, power supplies, terminal blocks, timers, alarms, speakers, cabinets and enclosures, racks, connectors, displays and monitors, encoders, fans and blowers, terminals, keyboards, hour meters, master electronics panel line cardHMI components, instrumentation, machine safety components, networking products, indicators, pneumatics, power conditioning equipment, printers, sensors, switches, test equipment, tools, transformers, wire and cable, wire management components, and several others.

Vice President of Marketing, Amir Nizam, explains, “When we took a close look at panel builders, we noted they use off-the-shelf modular product solutions to the maximum extent possible. Most often, they use products which mount to industry standard DIN rails, directly to cabinet walls, or to sub-panels within cabinets. This reduces design and manufacturing times and costs, enabling them to efficiently and quickly provide easily maintainable solutions to their customers. Master Electronics is assisting customers in that process.”

Panel Builders may be designing and building anything from a “one-off” control system for a single customer, to products which are used by an OEM on a production basis. The DIN Rail mountable products are addressed in the front portion of the guide. The “Supporting Products” section offers product categories and suppliers from which they can select to complete solutions (panel mounted contactors, larger power supplies, connectors, wire and cable, wire harness and labeling products, etc.).
