The Fastener Training Institute (FTI) is excited to join Fastener Fair USA 2023 with a pre-show training class on Monday, May 15th.
Laurence Claus, industry expert and IFI Director of Education and Training, will lead this day-long intensive training for fastener users, distributors, purchasers, engineers, sales professionals, and manufacturers at Music City Center in Nashville.
“This class is an excellent opportunity for anyone traveling to Fastener Fair who wants to step-up their knowledge with fastener industry, product and application learning that will go well beyond the basics,” said Jo Morris, marketing director with FTI.
The class curriculum will include fastener:
- Design and material options
- Head styles and drive features
- Heat treatments, platings, and coatings
- Market segments
- Basic engineering concepts and cost differences
- Torque, tightening, tension, as well as stress and bolt strength
Early-bird registration is available until April 30th for $399. On May 1st, the price increases to $449. Course materials, snacks, refreshments, a certificate of completion and free attendance to the Fastener Fair USA Exhibit Hall are all included in Fastening 101 class registration.
