Dymax offers new LED flood-curing system for adhesives

By Michelle Froese | December 23, 2021

The FX 1250 light curing system has an easy-to-use control platform, which can store programs and parameters for repeatable processes.

Dymax, a global manufacturers of light-curing materials and devices, is adding a new high-performance device to its renowned light-curing systems: Dymax BlueWave FX-1250

This new surface curing system for adhesive materials works with high-intensity LEDs, offers a large irradiation area, and ensures an overall strong, quality light intensity. In this way, already short curing times are reduced more so and the production throughput is significantly more efficient.

Together with the Dymax LED emitters — which are available in the wavelengths 365, 385, and 405nm — the Blue Wave FX-1250 generates a light intensity of over 2W / cm2.

To achieve the best possible curing, the new device offers a precise, defined, and even light intensity over the entire curing area of 127 x 127mm.

In addition to the high-precision LED radiation, the device also has an improved control system with a user-friendly interface. The large, high-contrast seven-inch screen is easy to read, the menu navigation is intuitive with several stored graphics and additional information.

The controller stores up to 16 programs and parameters for repeatable processes and can be activated and remotely monitored via PLC. In addition, the new curing device can continuously monitor the performance of the lamps and the control system and show errors directly on the controller’s display.

Users of this system will appreciate the quiet, efficient operation, low heat emission and high performance of the Blue Wave FX-1250 . Due to the LED-based curing technology, there is no warm-up phase required. The device can be switched on and off immediately, cures with less heat emission, and offers many other environmentally friendly advantages — as well as lower costs and a long service life.
