Miniature slide switch with single-pole three-position circuit function

The EG1312 series is a miniature right-angle surface mount slide switch and is a single-pole three-position circuit function. The switch is Maintained ON in the left position, Maintained ON in the center position and a Momentary ON in the right actuated position. This means there is a closed circuit in each of the 3 positions. However, when actuated to the right position the actuator will only stay in that position if the operator holds it. Once you remove the force to push it to the far right, the actuator will go back into the center position.

The life cycle rating for the EG1312 series is 5,000 cycles. It has a travel is 1.5 mm between positions with an E-Switch_EG1312actuation force of 150 gm. The operating temperature range is -10 to a +60°C. The EG1312 provides a compact 9.9x3x1.5 mm (LxWxH) size above the PCB surface. This results in an ideal package size that is perfect for small handheld devices in applications such as remote controls and consumer electronics.

Specifications include: Contact Rating: 30 [email protected] Vdc; Contact Arrangement: SP3T; Electrical Life: 5,000 Cycles; Contact Resistance: 1 Ω Min; Insulation Resistance: 1M Ω Min @ 250 Vdc; Dielectric Strength: 100 Vac for one minute; Operating Temperature -10 to 60°C; Storage Temperature: -25 to 85°C; Travel 1.50 mm from each position to the next position; Actuation Force 150 gf.
