Comodo released Easy VPN software to help you simulate local LAN connections through the Web using a Virtual Private Network. Reportedly, the software installs quickly and easily. Once PC access is allowed, all members of the network can share the contents of their computers with each other. The product uses 126-bit encryption to ensure that outsiders cannot spy on a private network.
For businesses, workers can telecommute by accessing their work PCs from home.
For companies using the product, an employee in India, for example, can collaborate on spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, and more with a colleague in the US. It can also be used within the office to allow for document sharing. The software comes included with an encrypted instant messaging client that allows all network members to talk in one chat box. It does not limit the number of members who can join.
