MIT has created what they’re claiming are the thinnest and lightest solar cells ever made. They’re so small, in fact, that they can rest on the surface of a soap bubble without popping it.
A Digital Assistant Faster than Siri
A Santa Clara-based startup has just created a device, named Hound, that can out-smart the other digital assistants on the market, such as Siri, Google Now, Amazon’s Alexa, and Cortana.
NASA OKs Supersonic Passenger Plane Project
NASA has officially awarded its first contract to design a prototype “low-boom” supersonic passenger jet, and a ceremony was held this week at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport in Arlington, Virginia.
The Lockheed team will be to come up with baseline requirements, specifications, and a preliminary design.
The team will also write a more detailed design for building and testing the aircraft, as well as analytical and wind tunnel testing as part of the Low Boom Flight Demonstration phase of the project. Funzie
