Esker has announced that Jean-Michel Bérard, CEO and President of the Board of Directors, has been named the 2013 Engineer Entrepreneur of the Year by weekly French news magazine l’Usine Nouvelle.
Following his designation as 2013 Entrepreneur of the Year for the French Rhône-Alpes region (Ernst & Young), Jean-Michel Bérard has once again been rewarded for his entrepreneurial vision, commitment to innovation and the ability to anticipate major technology trends — being described by l’Usine Nouvelle as a “visionary engineer.”
Since 1985, Esker has emerged as a leading French software vendor by offering strategic solutions to support its customers’ unique IT needs. Jean-Michel Bérard drives the business strategy, leads the Esker management team, and oversees the Asia-Pacific subsidiary along with Esker’s five worldwide mail production facilities.
“I am greatly honored by this award which recognizes my entrepreneurial and technological accomplishments,” said Jean-Michel Bérard. “More so, it’s a testament to Esker’s enduring culture of change and innovation.”
