Mill-Max Mfg., Corp. presents new solder cup products delivering the most versatile array of solutions for your wire termination needs. New options are available to choose from in connectors and discrete terminals suitable for a variety of spacing, height and orientation requirements.

Mill-Max Manufacting expanded solder cup lineupSolder cup components simplify the task of making wired connections between PCBs or devices and PCBs. They provide an appliance designed to accept and hold wires in place, eliminating the frustration of trying to manipulate them while performing the soldering operation. The solder cup also allows the solder to pool and form around the wire leading to better solder joints and more reliable, robust connections. Mill-Max has developed new manufacturing techniques and equipment to produce solder cup features for 2 mm and 0.050 in. pitch connectors, right angle and low-profile interconnects and integrated into fine pitch spring loaded connectors.

Mill-Max has long offered a wide range of products with solder cup features including discrete receptacles, terminal pins and spring-loaded pins as well as standard 0.100 in. pitch headers, sockets and spring-loaded connectors. The company is now expanding this product line by introducing these new solder cup connector configurations: 0.050 in. and 2 mm pitch headers with straight and right-angle solder tail options; 0.050 in. pitch sockets; 0.050 in. pitch spring-loaded connectors; 0.100 in. pitch low profile headers.

All solder cup connectors have high temperature insulators and uniformly aligned solder cups to facilitate efficient soldering. Some also have enhanced anti-rotation features. Single and double row are available for most series with right angle available only in single row.
