Molded components for critical applications can have their performance life extended with proprietary elastomer and thermoplastic compounds developed by The Rubber Group. Combining high strength and resistance to high and low temperature extremes, these specialty compounds and adhesives reduce operating costs and have a long service life.
For both dynamic or static applications, the high performance Nitrile, Fluorocarbons, EPDM, Neoprene and Hydrogenated Nitrile meet wide ranging environmental conditions that gas regulators and control valves must satisfy. Compound formulations include UL and CSA standards. Process control, gas production and chemical processing industries use components, including rubber-to-metal bonded designs, for critical control and shut off features on regulators and valves. These systems need to operate without failure in harsh environments for years.
Off-road vehicles and rail car suspension components all have critical sealing applications for pump and valve body systems. Many of these demanding applications have their requirements met by replacing metal with high performance plastics or elastomers.
Specific compounds meet industry “smoke free” requirements of ASTM-C-542 and ASTM-E-662 and toxicity specifications.
