Fabco-Air as unveiled a series of cylinders that are directly interchangeable bore for bore, model for model and stroke for stroke.
Featuring thin wall stainless steel bodies, the F Series Cylinders are available in 12 bore sizes from 5/16″ to 3″ as well as in strokes up to 32″. The cylinders are pre-lubricated at the factory with special petroleum based oil that has been formulated for long maintenance-free performance. Its rod bushing features oil impregnated sintered bronze for longer service life and excellent wear while its 303 stainless steel piston rod has been polished, ground and roller burnished to protect it against corrosion.
All units are designed with a piston that features a high strength aluminum construction. The end caps and cylinder body tube are attached with double rolled-in crimp. For full force performance and quick response, double acting units also include air passage to the whole piston area and seal area.
The series comes with low friction Buna N “U” cups that are inherently wear compensating for trouble-free and longer service life, anodized high strength aluminum end caps and 304 stainless steel tube that is polished and drawn.
Models include double acting, D/A hollow rod, magnetic piston, single acting pull, single acting push, multi-position, air cushion, position feedback, hole punch and delrin corrosion resistant.
Meanwhile, mounting options include rear pivot, nose mount, block front and trunnion mount.
