Fabco-Air’s FKHL, FKHZ, FKHQ, SPG and LPG Series of Grippers

By Editor | September 13, 2012

Fabco-Air has unveiled its FKHL, FKHZ, FKHQ, SPG and LPG Series of Parallel Grippers.

The FKHL Series Wide Parallel Grippers feature a compact design and a standard magnetic piston, making them ideally suited for use in various-sized work pieces. The grippers are also designed with built in rod scraper to protect it against dust. Sensor slots have also been integrated in the body while oil impregnated sleeve bearings that are housed in steel are utilized for all shafts.

Meanwhile, the FKHZ and FKHQ are almost identical except for their starting point of jaws and range of motion. The FKHQ Series offers a narrow grip while the FKHZ Series comes with a wider one.

Both parallel grippers feature standard magnetic piston and built in sensor slots. They are also hard coated aluminum, protecting them against corrosion and abrasion.

Specifically designed with a unique configuration, the SPG Series feature only three moving parts with the piston and jaw forming an integral assembly. Available in four different sizes, these parallel grippers allow for a compact and lightweight package while delivering exceptional accuracy. They are also fully repairable and permanently lubricated.

Finally, the LPG Series offers precision synchronous, parallel motion on applications demanding high gripping force of long strokes. They are based on a tube and tie-rod design and can be provided in almost any stroke length.

Aside from being fully repairable, the LPG Series feature hard coated cylinder tube, tie rod cylinder construction as well as magnalube “G” and internal lube seals.
