Cincinnati, OH ‚– The Industrial Automation Group of Advantech introduces the TPC-1780H, a 17‚†SXGA TFT LCD fanless touch panel PC with an Intel‚® Core‚â„¢ 2 Duo CPU. The TPC-1780H provides one extension slot, such as RS-422/485, PCI-104, CAN-bus, etc, to provide data bus extension. Also, there are multiple standard communication ports (3 x serial ports, 2 x Gigabit Ethernet LANs, 4 x USB 2.0 ports, 2 x PS/2, and 1 x VGA) allowing connectivity with a variety of peripherals. The TPC-1780H supports Microsoft‚® Windows XP, XP Embedded, CE 5.0, and CE.NET.
The TPC-1780H has an ultra slim design (93mm depth) and a die-cast aluminum NEMA4/IP65 front panel, making it resilient enough to resist the harsh conditions of any industrial environment, especially in SCADA applications or as a HMI display for machine automation.
