The Fastener Training Institute (FTI), a registered, non-profit organization that provides all levels of product and technical training for the fastener industry, has announced a four-part webinar series for its Fastener Basics course.
Students can learn over lunch and complete the training across four Thursdays this spring — March 28th, April 25th, May 30th, and June 27th. Each webinar will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Pacific, and will include time for audience Q&As.
FTI’s Fastener Basics course provides extensive fastener parts knowledge to those new to the fastener industry and those looking to better understand fastener products.
This webinar series will be presented by industry expert, Carmen Vertullo. Completion of the course serves as a prerequisite to attending FTI’s Fastener Training Week for anyone with less than two years of fastener experience.
“In the complicated world of fasteners including varying sizes, finishes and materials, this class provides the jump start needed to be successful. Our Fastener Basics class is excellent training for new fastener professionals,” shared Jo Morris, marketing director with FTI.
Each webinar is $125 per person or $225 for up to 10 attendees. The total for all four webinars is $500 or $900, respectively. Multiple attendee registrations include video replay for one week following the live webinars. Support from Würth Industry North America, FTI’s Sustaining Sponsor, is key to the successful presentation of Fastener Basics classes as well as all training offerings from FTI.
