FASTRack for Teamcenter is a new turn-key product lifecycle management (PLM) product for engineering and manufacturing. The software provides seven standard, scalable hardware configurations built with IBM BladeCenter technology, NetApp storage, and bundled with CSC infrastructure services and support to deliver measurable benefits including:

In a stand-alone deployment, a single instance of Teamcenter can provide remote access to one or more of your existing offices or design partner locations. In a collaborative, multi-site deployment, two or more instances of Teamcenter can be installed to enable collaboration between your firm’s geographically dispersed sites or between other partners in our supply chain.
For a new program, FASTRack is small enough to support the initial program needs yet expandable as your program grows. On a classified program, the software is a stand-alone solution that is easy to install in a secure vault. For a joint design facility where multiple partners work in the same facility, the product can selectively partition between your design partners and allow you to have full access to all their data – even on a shared LAN.
When you need an engineering disaster recovery, FASTRack is an alternative to subscription-based services. If you are a tier 1 or tier 2 supplier that works for multiple OEMs, the software can increase your productivity by letting CSC manage this complex IT environment so you can focus on your design work.
