Inc. magazine revealed that Field Fastener is No. 4,689 on its annual Inc. 5000 list — the most prestigious ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. Field has made the Inc 5000 list in eight of the last 10 years, which is extremely rare. In the history of the Inc.5000 list, only one percent of companies have made the list eight times.
Field is a global provider of inventory management and complete supply chain solutions for fasteners and other Class “C” items.
The list represents a unique look at the most successful companies within the American economy’s most dynamic segment, the independent small businesses. Intuit, Zappos, Under Armour, Microsoft, Patagonia, and many other well-known names gained their first national exposure as honorees on the Inc. 5000.
“Being recognized in eight of the last 10 years by Inc. is an incredible accomplishment for the Field team,” said Adam Derry, CCO at Field. “It’s a testament to the commitment we have to our customers, and all that we do to ensure we live our mission statement, which is to have ‘Everyone who interacts with us, love us.’”
Not only have the companies on the 2020 Inc. 5000 been very competitive within their markets, but the list as a whole shows staggering growth compared with prior lists as well. The 2020 Inc. 5000 achieved an incredible three-year average growth of over 500 percent, and a median rate of 165%. The Inc. 5000’s aggregate revenue was $209 billion in 2019, accounting for over one million jobs over the past three years.
