Tak Tsang of Agilent Technologies Inc. recently answered five questions about data logging and remote monitoring. The company now offers a wireless connectivity solution that links up to three Agilent handheld digital multimeters to smartphones, tablets and PCs. Remote viewing and control from distances of up to 10 m can be achieved using the U1177A, a compact Bluetooth wireless adapter that plugs into any of the company’s 11 handheld DMMs. We’ll talk about the technology and the software involved with this wireless link.
