To better address the specific needs of the European aerospace industry, Freudenberg-NOK Sealing Technologies (Freudenberg-NOK) is consolidating the customer service, inside sales, logistics and product support coverage of all its European aerospace customers to its Lutterworth, Leicestershire, U.K. Service Center. This transition is targeted for completion by October.
The Lutterworth Service Center, which provides warehouse, product support and logistics services, has previously focused on aerospace customers primarily in the U.K. Freudenberg-NOK’s decision to shift all European aerospace coverage to Lutterworth will result in the creation of a service hub that will support industry needs across Europe, including Freudenberg-NOK’s key aviation manufacturers in Germany, France, Italy and Spain.
“Necessitated by our strong growth in this segment, the creation of this European aerospace hub will allow a focused, coordinated approach to all customer interactions from communication and order fulfillment to product support and logistics,” said Sean Morgan, global segment director, Aerospace, Freudenberg-NOK. “The end result is a tremendously knowledgeable team that’s well versed in this industry’s unique requirements and acts as a single point of contact to promote the success of our European aerospace customers.”
In addition to being an AS9120/EN9120 Quality Management System certified facility, the award-winning Lutterworth location is a three-time recipient of the coveted Pattonair Gold Supplier honor. The facility received the awards for its outstanding customer service, technical support and delivery performance.
