The AM9002 from Atlanta Micro (Alpharetta, GA) is a fully integrated, high dynamic range miniature analog tuner covering the 20 MHz to 6 GHz frequency range with an 80-MHz instantaneous bandwidth. The receive tuner is designed for high performance and low size, weight and power (SWaP) applications and is easily mounted to a printed circuit board as a surface mount device. Multiple tuners can be configured to work together for coherent operation and N-channel applications. Interfacing to the tuner is accomplished by simply providing an RF input, DC voltages, SPI control and routing the analog IF output. Features include:
- Sub-octave preselectors.
- Local oscillators.
- 10-MHz frequency reference.
- Anti-aliasing filtering for sampling applications.
- Analog IF output frequency selectable from 70 MHz to 160 MHz.
