The automotive testing and development firm Roush used the show to debut a software package called Radar PrePro. Roush says it has used the software internally for some time and is now making it commercially available. Radar PrePro is said to be fully automated, data-driven, preproduction vehicle testing management software. It includes test planning, test execution management, issues management, workorder management modules and engineering data analytics. Roush also featured its newly opened Advanced Durability Lab, said to be a first-of-its-kind durability and road simulation test facility for testing the structural reliability of vehicles and vehicle components early in the product design. Also highlighted were Roush’s 50-test-cell dynamometer labs able to handle higher horsepower performance engines, like the Roush Stage 3 Mustang at 710 hp. Additional capabilities include heavy duty transient testing, auto-mapping, diesel and alternative fuel emissions, combustion analysis and climatic testing. www.roush.com
