A gift card on ice
MayaHTT’s Danial
Mazhar here points to a $500 gift card that is frozen in a tower of melting ice. The attendee who came closest to guessing when the gift card emerged from the ice tower got to keep it. MayaHTT provided some helpful hints for contest entrants in the form of CFD simulations and other data about the ice sculpture. We shot this image on the second day of the exhibit, and the gift card was nowhere near melting out of the ice. Besides simulating ice melts, MayaHTT software also handles a variety of design-oriented tasks that come in handy for product development. For example, one of the MayaHTT sessions at Realize LIVE covered a brake disc thermal simulation for a Siemens demonstration vehicle called the SimRod.
