Charging up from the camp fire
The Powerpot is basically an ordinary cooking pot with a thermoelectric generator built into its bottom. Heating the pot over a campfire generates 10 W or 5 W, depending on the model, while you heat up your beans or soup. The electrical power is available via USB port and can be used to charge up mobile devices. The pot itself is anodized aluminum. The creator, Power Practical, has the distinction of getting some of its funding via the TV show called Shark Tank.
