Laptops for the deaf
The UbiDuo is designed to let the deaf communicate easily, especially in group discussions. It basically incorporates a way of sending messages back and forth via a color touch screen. The touch screen includes patented hinge technology that holds the two halves securely in place for easy transport. The device can hold 100 MB of data captured in the 7-in. diagonal color touch screen and includes a USB type A port for connecting flash storage, an HDMI port for connecting a TV or projector, and Kensington anti-theft slots on each half.
