GAM Gear has introduced the FP Flange Planetary gear reducer. The FP gear reducer is a ‚“shaftless‚†flange output gearbox that offers advantages in space and performance. The FP‚’s unique and innovative internal design provides a compact gearbox with very high tilting rigidity and torsional stiffness. The benefit of the FP is that it allows machine elements such as pinion gears, pulleys, rotary index tables, and transmission shafts to be connected directly to the output face. The FP can also be configured so either the output flange rotates or the housing itself rotates.
The FP is available in 4 standard frame sizes and in reduction ratios from 4:1 to 100:1. It is designed for 20,000 hours of life, requires no maintenance (lubricated for life) and comes ready to mount to your motor.
