Glycol control valves have a forged body design suitable to the heavy-duty vehicle market. The valve setup features a one-piece valve body with machined hose end connections to eliminate two potential leak points. The two-way normally closed valves can be incorporated into a vehicle’s heating and cooling system to regulate accessory equipment. The valves are constructed with brass bodies and EPDM seals and are available in 12 and 24 Vdc. They can operate in the pressure range from 3 to 44 PSI (0.2 to 3 bar) with an ambient temperature range of – 40°F to 180°F (-40° to 82°C), and media temperature range from – 40°F to 230°F (-40° to 110°C). The watertight electrical connection is IP67 and IP6K9K rated with the proper mating connectors installed.
