GoEngineer, a reseller of SOLIDWORKS 3D CAD software and Stratasys 3D printers has announced they are partnering in a strategic agreement with FATHOM, a manufacturer of prototypes and production parts with an experience in 3D printing and additive manufacturing.
The agreement allows both FATHOM and GoEngineer to scale in significant ways: GoEngineer will manage ongoing machine sales, and FATHOM will fully focus on providing industry-leading prototyping and manufacturing services to better serve each other’s customers. “We are taking the next step to help our customers on their journey into digital manufacturing,” said Ken Coburn, founder and president of GoEngineer.
The two companies will create a product development ecosystem of software, hardware, manufacturing, engineering, design, and training solutions that help companies drive greater innovation.
“It’s exciting for our industry because both FATHOM and GoEngineer are uniquely positioned to meet the ever-increasing demand for advanced tools and services that enhance and accelerate a company’s product development and production processes,” said Michelle Mihevc, co-founder and principal at FATHOM.
