Lauren Plastics, LLC, a division of Lauren International Ltd., announced the acquisition of ISO-Trude, Inc., Spring Lake, Michigan, a plastics extrusion and engineering company. Officials at Lauren International noted continued and substantial growth into new markets and products as a driving factor in making the acquisition.

Part of our vision at Lauren International is to continually look for opportunities that allow us to be dynamic providers of superior products, services and solutions in a diverse spectrum of markets, stated Kevin Gray,
CEO Lauren International. True to our vision, the new markets we have pursued and now serve have produced outstanding growth opportunities. The purchase of ISO-Trude allows us to scale operations both at the New Philadelphia location as well as at the Spring Lake, Michigan site. We are excited about the opportunity to provide expanded sales, service and manufacturing capabilities for customers at both locations.

Chuck Laney, President of Lauren Plastics and Lauren Illumination, noted that growth of current and new business has resulted in a shortage of space on the factory floor. Our steady growth in new and existing product lines has caused a shortage of space at our New Philadelphia location, said Laney. Given the challenges of those space constraints and demands created by ongoing business growth, the opportunity to join forces with ISO-Trude is a decision that makes good sense. Laney also commented on how stakeholders will benefit. ISO-Trude brings an exciting book of business with a diverse customer base to the table. They have served companies who need single and co-extruded products for 20 years. Considering their current, high-end extrusion capabilities in combination with our manufacturing systems and value-added processes, customers will experience additional product choices and expanded custom engineered solutions, he said.

Operations from New Philadelphia OH will begin merging with those at Spring Lake, MI early in 2014. Craig Janusz, Vice President of ISO-Trude, will oversee the management of the company’s Spring Lake facility. According to Janusz, the ISO-Trude Michigan facility is the perfect solution for Lauren Plastics as our companies combine and expand. Separately, we have earned excellent reputations for product innovation and customer service, and we expect synergies among our companies to provide exciting new opportunities for growth.

Lisa Huntsman, President of Lauren Manufacturing, noted that the ISO-Trude acquisition would provide new opportunities for growth at Lauren manufacturing. We’re very excited about Lauren Plastics joining forces with ISO-Trude, said Huntsman. The manufacturing capabilities and personnel that will be made available with this move allow us to pursue new and innovative projects for customers that we could not have considered. The timing couldn’t be better for Lauren Manufacturing. Both Lauren Plastics and ISO-Trude are actively engaged in careful planning of the transition to ensure uninterrupted service to customers.
