HAWE Hydraulics’ Durable Directional Seated Valve

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – HAWE Hydraulics introduces the newest member of directional seated valves. These ball seated valves are known for their ability to stop flow without leakage. They are most commonly used for structural engineering works, such as lifting, moving and depositing decking elements on bridges and production test benches.

The extended range of construction size 22 valves that recently joined the HAWE product family are made of steel and maintain a long life cycle. The valve‚’s durability makes them well suited for swelling and pulsating continuous stress and a high number of switching actuations while in increased pressure ranges of up to 700 bar (10,150 psi).

The directional seated valves can be arranged for direct control of the hydraulic consumers and, depending on the flow pattern, as pilot valves for hydraulic activated switchgear. They are mechanically moved from the operating element into the respective switch position by the bell-crank lever and tappet. The reliable ball valve construction prevents jamming or sticking while in switch position, the integrated strainer elements offer additional protection against coarse contamination and the lever transmission from the actuation unit to the valve element allow for soft and shock-free switching at minimal power. Available in solenoid, pilot, mechanical or manual actuations, these valves can be delivered with 2/2-, 3/2- and 4 position 3-way directional functions. The basic version, built as manifold mounting valve, can be supplemented with individual connection plates for direct installation in the pipe works or by combining sub-plates in valve blocks.
