The software maintenance contracts include direct access to HBM’s premium support as well as software maintenance and updates at regular intervals. This means new functions, adaptations to new operating systems (e.g. upgrade to Windows 7), and bug fixing. When purchasing an HBM software package, software maintenance for the first year already is included.
The maintenance contract enables you to gain access to HBM’s premium support offering fast and competent answers to questions about the different software packages. If, for example, a software error occurs, you can obtain an updated version where the error has been fixed. In general, this is even the case before the error occurs.
The software maintenance contract enables software costs to be accurately calculated. The annual fee already includes all performance features. Discounts are available to HBM customers who purchase a maintenance contract before September 30, 2010.
