The ULTRAMIC 600 Advanced Ceramic Heater has a thermally conductive aluminum nitride (AIN) ceramic composition and heating element. Its construction sinters the ceramic at elevated temperatures to make a monolithic, geometrically stable structure. The sintered ceramic materials give high dielectric strength, low leakage current, uniform temperatures, a rapid ramp rate, and a low coefficient of thermal expansion. It operates to 600° C (1,112 °F), with a ramp rate to 150° C (270° F) per sec, depending on the application, heater design, and process parameters.
