With over a dozen new functions, the new capabilities promise to bring machining with an iTNC 530 to an even higher and simpler level than before. Two of the new functions in
AFC — Adaptive Feed Control (option) — It is now possible to adapt the contouring feed rate to the spindle performance, providing various advantages regarding machining quality, velocity, and the permissible usage time of a tool.
GPS — Global Program Settings (option) — This was introduced for tool and mold making. It lets the user enter data in a form, which is superimposed on the previous data during program run.
