Motion Control Products Ltd has released its flagship product, the ACSM1 digital servo drive, a series of high performance, brushless AC servo drives used for tough machinery applications such as controlling induction motors, high torque motors as well as synchronous and asynchronous servo motors with various feedback devices.

The ACSM1 digital servo drive series uses DTC motor control technology which guarantees high performance. It features a compact mechanical design and covers power ratings from 0.75 kW to 110 kW (2.5 A to 210 A).

The product has five compact frame sizes and features various assembly and cooling solutions and external options. It supports back plate mounting and DIN-rail mounting as well as enables quick assembly and maintenance with its power terminals and removable control terminals.

It also features mains chokes which can help limit harmonic distortion (THD), mains filters to comply with the EMC requirements as well as braking resistors needed for various braking power applications.

ACSM1 digital servo drive is built with a wide range of feedback interfaces including Sin/Cos, Resolver, Endat, SSI, Hiperface and TTL Encoder. For safety purposes, the servo drive is also integrated with a “Safe Torque Off” function.

This digital servo drive allows speed control for various applications such as treadmill motors and spa bath motors as well as high precision applications like synchronization and positioning systems. The product can also be used for different industrial applications including textile, packaging, printing and material handling.
