GAM Gear has introduced the SPL planetary gear reducer. The SPL is a high performance gear reducer suitable for demanding motion control applications where precision and durability are essential. The design of the gearbox provides a high torsional stiffness and low backlash, ideal for high accuracy applications. The SPL is available with a shaft output, integrated coupling output, or the gearbox can be modified to meet your exact application requirements.
The unique design of the SPL allows the user to make full use of the latest generation servo-motors. The SPL can mount to motors with a large oversized shaft, handles input speeds as much as 6500 rpm and produces a high output torque at he same time. The design of the large taper roller bearings easily accommodates high radial loads on the output shaft.
The SPL is available in 7 standard frame sizes with maximum torque output from 24 Nm to 3400 Nm and reduction ratios from 3:1 to 100:1. It is designed for 20,000 hours of life, requires no maintenance (lubricated for life) and comes ready to mount to your motor.
