High Power Brushless Motor from Dunkermotoren

By Miles Budimir | April 14, 2011

Share

Dunkermotoren USA has developed a family of high performance modular brushless permanent magnet (PM BLDC) motors. The BG75 series is composed of 75mm (2.95”) squared high power density motors in 3 stack lengths. Peak motor torque varies from 250Ncm (354 oz.in) to 630Ncm (892 oz.in), while peak output power ranges from 420W to 1000W. Axial lengths are respectively 115mm (4.53″), 140mm (5.51″), and 165mm (6.50″).

The modular construction of the BG75 series is available with integral Hall sensors, and/or an integrated incremental position encoder with 4096 counts post quadrature, and/or a multi-turn absolute encoder AE65 series with SSI interface.

Dunkermotoren’s cutting edge winding technology allows the BG75 to be available in many winding voltages ranging from 12VDC to 325VDC.

Optionally, an integrated speed and position motion controller with CANopen, Profibus, Modbus or Ethercat interface can be fitted into the high power density BLDC motor. Brakes and gearboxes, also from Dunkermotoren’s modular system, perfectly complete the BG75 series. The result is a compact, hassle-free, more reliable and economical motion solution.

Typical markets served by the BG75 series are Semiconductor, Medical, Factory Automation and battery operated equipments such as AVGs and off-road vehicles.
