Hinged Shaft Collar Adjusts, Clamps & Locks By Hand

By Editor | January 15, 2013

Share

Stafford Manufacturing Corp. introduced a lever-actuated, hinged shaft collar for non-rotary applications such as moving gates, sensor heights, stops, and spacers.

The Staff-Lok™ Hinged Shaft Collar is easy to install and simple to adjust and lock in place by just lifting the conformal cam lever, moving it along a shaft, tube, or pipe and then retightening by hand.  Featuring a knurled adjustment screw, this hinged clamping collar never requires tools and is ideally suited for non-rotary applications involving fast, frequent, or temporary relocation.

Staff-lock

Available in 1/2” to 4” I.D. sizes, the Staff-Lok™ Hinged Shaft Collar is machined from steel and has a smooth bore.  It can also be supplied with custom bore designs for joining flanges and with custom features for attaching sensors or other devices.  A one-piece design is also available.  Applications include EOAT, automation, conveyors, and packaging machinery.
