HMI/Machine Controller Enclosures now in standard sizes

ROLEC’s new profiPANEL HMI/control enclosures are now available in four standard sizes – with a four-step easy specification process.

IP 65 rated profiPANEL Standard’s minimalist multi-variable design makes it ideal for a wide range of modern machine control applications. It can be mounted from the top or bottom on ROLEC’s profiPLUS 50 suspension arm system.

The existing profiPANEL model is already a cost-effective proposition but the new standard version offers even greater savings by offering four standard sizes based on a 90 mm profile. Lead times are reduced because all the components are held in stock. The standard format is also ideal for smaller volume orders.

ROLEC profiPANEL has an individually configurable front plate which can accommodate a panel PC up to 21 inches. The 0.12” aluminum front plate is permanently connected to the enclosure with flush and virtually edgeless mounting. Each case features a lock and exterior hinge as standard.

Each enclosure is manufactured from extruded aluminum (silver anodized) with light gray (RAL 7035) polyamide corner covers. Slide-in contours for M4/M5 nuts allow easy mounting of equipment.

The four standard plan sizes are: 15.74” x 15.74”, 20.47” x 15.74”, 20.47” x 20.47” and 23.62” x 20.47”.

The four easy specification steps are: 1 – select the enclosure dimensions based on the planned internal mounting; 2 – define the machining of the front plate; 3 – define the position of the suspension arm fixing; 4 – select an optional handle.

Customizing options include CNC machining, bespoke colors, printing and engraving of legends and logos, RFI/EMI shielding, membrane keypads and full assembly.
