Anoka, MN ‚— Hoffman announces the CLIMAGUARD‚â„¢ Outdoor Heat Exchanger for versatile and reliable closed-loop cooling. This robust heat exchanger removes up to 3,000 watts of enclosure heat and features a double-crimped and dip-sealed core, allowing efficient thermal transfer while ensuring maximum protection against leaks in harsh outdoor environments. Units can easily be surface- or recess-mounted to an enclosure, while maintaining a tight seal for reliable protection against air and water infiltration.

CLIMAGUARD Outdoor Heat Exchangers are designed to seal out harsh environments, including temperature extremes, corrosive environments and wind-driven rain. These lab- and field-tested units feature a wide range of cooling capacities and meet versatile application requirements. Robust CLIMAGUARD Heat Exchangers are compatible with 48 VDC and 115 VAC power supplies. A maximum 2,000-watt heater option is available on DC and AC volt heaters, and variable-speed blowers come standard on DC-powered units for quiet running.

“Heat exchangers from Hoffman provide an efficient means of cabinet cooling, protecting your vital electronics from the detrimental effects of overheating,” said Rita Bejjani, Hoffman Thermal Product Manager. “The core of Hoffman’s CLIMAGUARD Outdoor Heat Exchanger is double-crimped and dip-sealed to prevent harsh environmental elements from entering the enclosure. This rugged design maintains the enclosure’s integrity and provides the reliability that harsh applications require.”

CLIMAGUARD Outdoor Heat Exchangers are UL Type 12/3R/4 rated and Telcordia GR-487 capable, and every unit is functionally tested. Units are available in a variety of sizes and styles, fast and in-stock. Non-standard models are available upon request.
