Rivit, a global manufacturer and distributor of fastening systems, tools, and related equipment, has introduced two hydro-pneumatic hexcutter tools for hexagonal holes: the RIV990 and RIV991.
RIV990 is for the hexagonal Rivsert rivet nuts from M4 to M10. A unique punch that’s housed in the front of the tool head easily transforms a round hole into a hexagonal one. This allows for the use of hexagonal rivet nuts on folded profiles and metal boxes.
The tool is supplied in a plastic case without the frontal head kit — choose the correct one, according to the fastener to be placed, and order it separately.
RIV991 is for the hexagonal Rivsert rivet nuts from M5 to M12. Similar to the RIV990, a punch and die is housed in the front of the tool head to transform a round hole into a hexagonal one, allowing for the use of hexagonal rivet nuts. Order the proper punch and die separately, according to the fasteners to be used.
