Sunnyvale- IDEC Corporation and DATASENSOR are collaborating in an exciting, joint program to market and sell IDEC-DATASENSOR branded products in North America.
IDEC Corporation is a leader in automation and control devices, providing reliable and innovative products worldwide for over sixty years. DATASENSOR is a main European photoelectric sensing device manufacturer and Italy’s largest, building a strong international reputation by selling customers only the highest-quality products for more than three decades.
Sensing devices manufactured by DATASENSOR will be combined with current IDEC photoelectric and specialty sensing products, giving customers a complete range of high-performance, easy-to-install, high-quality sensors. This partnership will provide creative solutions to sensing needs for a variety of applications in machine automation, and will compliment the already broad IDEC automation and control product family.
IDEC-DATASENSOR products will be marketed and sold through established IDEC automation channel partners starting in October 2007. This new venture is in-line with the IDEC long-term goal to expand its automation business globally.
